Independent Meta & Google Ads audits

A second opinion on your Meta and Google Ads.

An outside read of your account from someone who isn’t running it. You get a plain readout of what’s working, what isn’t and where to start.

For founders, in-house leads and teams checking an agency’s work. Meta, Google or both.

What gets reviewed

The account, and everything around it.

Platform numbers rarely tell the whole story. I follow the money from the ad to the page to the result.

  1. 01

    Account structure

Campaigns, objectives and budgets, and whether the setup matches what the business is trying to do.

  2. 02

    Audiences

Prospecting, remarketing, exclusions and overlap, and where the account is running on habit.

  3. 03

    Creative

Message, format, fatigue and testing. What your current ads are teaching you.

  4. 04

    Landing path

Whether the page keeps the promise the ad made, and where people drop off.

  5. 05

    Tracking

What you can trust, what needs checking and where the reporting flatters itself.

  6. 06

    Waste

Where the money leaks, and what’s holding the account back.

What you get

A readout you can act on.

No hundred-slide deck. A plain written readout of what’s happening, why it matters and the order to fix it in.

It’s written so you can hand it straight to your team or your agency.

How I think about an account
  1. Now

    Fix first

Problems costing money today, or muddying the numbers you’re reading.

  2. Next

    Worth doing

Changes ranked by likely impact, effort and how sure I am.

  3. Later

    Worth testing

What to learn next across creative, audiences, offer and page.

How it works

You’ll know the price before I start.

This is the whole path, from first message to readout.

  1. 01

    Brief

Tell me what feels off and what the business needs from the account.

  2. 02

    Discovery call

A short phone call so I understand the size and shape of the account.

  3. 03

    Quote

A quote for your account, with the turnaround confirmed.

  4. 04

    Access

You grant read-only access. It’s used only for the agreed review.

  5. 05

Who does the audit

Not a dashboard.
A person.

I’m Thomas Leeming, and I do every audit myself.

Before this I spent 13 years in Japan. I directed and edited video, translated, DJed on FM Osaka, did comedy in Tokyo and ran my own company, Hit Start, which made the EDAMAME Arcade Channel for Square Enix. From 2007 to 2018 I also worked on JANBARI.TV programs like NO LIMIT and iPeka.

In Perth, I was Marketing Manager at Complete Home Filtration from 2020 until I went independent in June 2026. These days I also do stand-up around Perth.

AI in the audit

The AI runs offline.

AI does one job in an audit: crunching large volumes of numbers, closely guided by me. The model runs on my own hardware, so no client data goes to a cloud AI service.

I make the calls in the readout myself. I’ve been working with AI since July 2022.

Questions

Before you hand over access.

How much does an audit cost?

As a guide, most audits land between $2,000 and $5,000. Your quote comes after a short discovery call, once I know the size and shape of the account.

How long does it take?

Typically 3–7 days after full access, depending on the size of the account. The quote confirms the timing before anything starts.

Who does the review?

I do, every time. AI helps with the heavy number-crunching, but I read the account, make the calls and write the readout.

What access do you need?

Read-only access to the ad accounts, or full exports, plus the landing pages and a bit of business context. I only ask for what the review needs.

What happens to my data?

Your access and exports are used only for the agreed review. The number-crunching runs on an offline model on my own hardware, so none of your account data goes to a cloud AI service. The privacy policy covers how data is handled.

Meta, Google or both?

Either, or both. If you run both, I also look at how they affect each other.

Does my agency need to know?

That’s your call. Read-only access changes nothing in the account, so the audit can run quietly. The readout is written so you can hand it to an agency if you want them to act on it.

What if the account is in good shape?

Then I’ll tell you. Knowing what’s working, and what to leave alone, is a useful result too.

Will you take over the account?

Not by default. This is an independent review. The readout can go to your team, your current agency or whoever makes the changes.

What don’t you do?

I don’t promise a magic ROAS, and I don’t invent work to justify a retainer. The aim is an honest read and better next decisions.
